I can’t help but say that this has got to be one of the best updates of TF I’ve seen along side of Beast Wars (cough Airachnid cough.) The writing is great! The VAing is great! It takes some getting used to about the weird anatomy of some of the characters. Shoutout for Bulkhead from TF:A as one of the supporting characters. Yay! I find the humans are not as annoying (except for one, named Miko) in this series, in my humble opinion. That’s really good!
Though, I find that sometimes they have a lot of action and drama in one episode than it needed. I do think there are times where Megatron just surprises me where once in a blue moon being “kind” in some instances. Orion Pax and Starscream later in season 2 when he comes back. Starscream, which I think he’s well portrayed in this one as well as TF:A, makes me facepalm myself as I think “This guy is trying to be conquering, but he’s really a panicky pansy.” Still he’s a good laugh and he’s like an even better cunning tactitioner in this series compared to ahem G1. Over the years, that was an improvment that he’s not like the Kenny of South Park where he dies or whatever and comes back in the next episode. LOL
The animators take advantage of the 3D animation by making some hilarious moment with some of the bots and their bodies. Bumblebee and Starscream disco/robot/dubstep dance and scared Megatron face (surprising, I know) are examples of hilarity within the series.
So, anybody else has any comments on the series?

I absolutely agree. Some of the stuff is dark enough to enjoy for the mature audience, and relatable enough for kids to enjoy it, too. Favorite episode right now is “Hurt” for sentimental reasons.
I tried it for a few episodes. Didn’t really hook me and some of the designs (particularly Optimus Prime) are horribly bland. Still I found it a lot more tolerable than Animated which I loathed (and consider to be one of the worst cartoons I’ve ever watched in whole life)… To be honest I’ve never really enjoyed any TF TV show. Only the movies (for the awesome robot battles and toyline. I love my Leader Class Buster Optimus Prime in particular, best Transformers figure ever designed) and the old Marvel comics (mainly the UK version which inspired me to be arty when I was a kid and is also what is behind my username)
Loving the show. I was in Ireland over the weekend and picked up the first two DVD’s and while I’m still trying to adjust to the ret-con’d reboot; I’m really enjoying it.
The art and animation are pretty good, and the writing is pretty consistent with a lot of care being take with the voice acting. It’s not quite the Transformers of my childhood, but I’ll take it!
O.M.G. Not to one-up anyone’s original post (sorry srebak,) but guess what I saw the other day? Transformers Prime:Beast Hunters. Bumblebee gets his voice box back. Guess who got to play Bumblebee? Give you a hint: 2011 Thundercats…dude, I BET you lurk on forums like this! That’s awesome!!! Yet another satisfied happy fangirl.
